Submitting a Project
Projects are accepted from all Faculties in all disciplines.
Faculty members interested in hosting a research intern are welcome to submit a proposal for a research project when research projects are being accepted. Please consult our Important Dates section for current cycle timelines, and note that they are currently closed. Thank you for your interest, and feel free to check back later.
Why Submit a Project?
- Opportunity to supervise and mentor a bright young undergraduate researcher from China, who must meet the following eligibility requirements, as per China Scholarship Council (CSC)
- Administrative and program assistance is provided by ¶®É«µÛ International Student + Visitor Services. This includes the immigration invitation, CCID creation, and academic visitor campus registration processes.
- Students receive financial support from China Scholarship Council:
- $4,500 CAD stipend
- Round Trip Airfare
- International exposure and new perspectives for your research
- Research project is showcased at a poster symposium

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) also provides scholarships to Chinese citizens for visiting PhD students and Post-Doctoral Fellows.
