A Commitment to Action Against Racism at the 雅伎著

In the summer of 2020, with the awakening of global societal awareness of racism, the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FoMD) took several steps to address racism in our academic environment. This included the development of a zero-tolerance policy for racism, as well as a task force to develop a substantive, action-oriented strategy focusing on racism led by the Assistant Dean of Access, Community & Belonging). The Anti-Racism Commitment to Change (ARCTC) task force, which included faculty, staff, clinical academic colleagues, trainees and researchers, developed a strategic framework around the three pillars—education, research and service—aligning with the mandate of academic medicine.
