Lowering the Flag: Bethany Poon

The ¶®É«µÛ banner is flying at half-mast from September 11-14, 2023 in remembrance of Bethany Poon, undergraduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences (Cell Biology), Faculty of Science.
Bethany loved her family, friends, colleagues, food, piano, music, singing, brain teasers, reading, research, caring for others, cuddling babies, snuggling with her puppy Peanut, and being the presence of her God. She passed away peacefully in South Surrey, BC on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Bethany is survived by her mother (Carolyn), father (John), and younger brothers (Joshua, Josiah, and Jacob).
